Abstract

|
Spontaneous rupture occurs in a kidney already damaged by disease in which there is no hostile of trauma.
Since Wunderlich, in 1856, first described spontaneous apoplexy of the renal capsule, spontaneous rapture of the kidney has been the subject of clinical report. Hydronephrosis, pyelonephritis,tumor, aneurysm, and renal calculus have been the predisposing causes in the reported cases.
Authors reported a case of spontaneous rupture of kidney associated with pyelonephritis and reviewed of the literatures.
